Fall Tennis at Franklin Farm

 

August is here and summer camps are winding down, but there still is plenty of time for tennis at Franklin Farm this season. FirstServe Tennis is currently preparing fall programming for Franklin Farm and would love your help. If there is a class, camp, tournament, league, or tennis social you would like to see at Franklin Farm, they would like to hear from you.


The goal of FirstServe Tennis is to offer community-based tennis programming from ages 4 to adult in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment featuring small class sizes. With your feedback, the continued support of Franklin Farm staff, and guidance from the Board of Trustees and the Tennis Committee, that goal can become a reality, beginning with a successful fall 2008!

Tennis Committee Information
 
Purpose

The Franklin Farm Tennis Committee is responsible for providing advice and assistance to the Board of Trustees in administering a tennis program for the Franklin Farm Foundation, including, but not restricted to, recommendation and execution of annual budgets for operation and maintenance of the space and facilities occupied by, and immediately surrounding, all tennis courts in Franklin Farm.

 

 
How to Join
Four Franklin Farm residents have volunteered to serve on the Tennis Committee. Anyone interested in committee membership should plan to attend a Tennis Committee meeting to meet the other members and express his or her willingness to help out. The committee chair is Dutch Van Hout.
 
Meeting Place and Times
The Tennis Committee meets at Still Pond Community Center on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.
