2010 Franklin Farm Election Results
 

 

Voting in the 2010 Franklin Farm Election closed at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, and Inspectors of Elections counted the ballots that day. In all, 325 valid ballots were received, representing 17.2% of the Foundation members eligible to vote. The election results appear below.


Cindy Bogus, James Cannon, Paul Dykeman, Graham Tracey, and Jack Weeks were elected to fill the five (5) available seats on the Board of Trustees. They will serve two-year terms.


• The following neighborhoods had the required minimum 25% of neighbors voting to have a valid Neighborhood Board. They were Applegrove, Flintwood, Heritage Meadow, Tuckaway, and Wrenn House.


• The following neighborhoods had enough people to form Neighborhood Boards but did not reach the minimum 25% voting requirement. The Board of Trustees must sanction the boards from the following neighborhoods: Foxlease, Still Oaks, and Tranquility.


• The following neighborhoods had less than three (3) people run for their Neighborhood Boards and, therefore, need to have individuals appointed as points of contact: Ashburton Oaks, Briargate, Cross Creek, Dower House, Fern Hollow, Gatepost, Rosemere, Rounding Run, Stone Heather, Wildmere, and Willow Glen.


• The following neighborhoods do not have a Neighborhood Board or a point of contact: Autumn Hill, Bramblewood, Brynwood, Dairy Lou, Hidden Meadow, Huntsfield, Laneview, and Still Pond.

Election Committee Information

 

The Election Committee of the Franklin Farm Foundation is responsible for all election activities.  These include the yearly elections of both the Board of Trustee positions up for election and all the Neighborhood Boards as well as any general vote of all the members of the Foundation at the Annual Meetings.

 

Regular meetings of the Election Committee are normally be held monthly six months before an election. When necessary to carry out assignments and responsibilities, committee meetings may be called by the chairperson or upon the request of any two voting members or representatives. All committee meetings are open to any resident of Franklin Farm. A quorum will consist of three voting members.
