Planning Meeting

 

 

 

The members of the Community Functions Committee will meet on Monday, February 8, at 7 p.m. in Still Pond Community Center to plan spring/summer events.

 

All volunteers who participated in past events are urged to attend this important meeting. New members are welcome.

 

 

 

Breakfast with Santa

 


Thank you to all our residents who came by to see Santa this year. The event was a huge hit, with a record number of kids visiting. There were food, prizes, and activities. This is what makes a community a family!


A very special “thank you” to the following volunteers who made this event happen and put a little extra sparkle into the holidays — Hagan Donaldson (coordinator), Kelly McArter, Barbara Irwin, Betsi Furhman, Susan Liu, Dana Rosenweig, Sue Keith, Mike Slevin, Janet Sifers, Sam McKee, Holly Irwin, Maddie Holcomb, and Katie Douglas.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Community Functions Committee Information

 

Purpose

The Community Functions Committee brings the Franklin Farm community together by sponsoring events such as ice cream socials, pool parties, the Country Hoe Down, and Santa's visits.

 

How to Join

Contact the Foundation Office at 703-620-6230. New members are welcome!

 

Meeting Place and Times

The Community Functions Committee generally meets on the second Wednesday of the month, but does not meet every month. Watch the Almanac calendar for announced dates and times of meetings.
